Hints & Tips
- Make your own self-rising flour by mixing 1 cup of all-purpose or whole wheat flour, 2 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp. salt.
- If the dough is too sticky, add 1 tablespoon of flour into the dough at a time until it’s smooth.
- If the dough doesn’t come together (which happens if you use whole wheat flour & baking soda), add 1 tablespoon of water at a time.
- If you want to make this dough in advance, you can. Tightly wrap the dough with plastic wrap. The dough will last 3 days in the fridge or 1 month frozen.
