Ingredients
- 1 cup brown whole grain rice
- ½ cup Farro
- ½ cup green lentils
- ½ cup pearl barley
- ½ cup quinoa
- 3.5 cups water
- 2 tbsp (20g) coconut oil
Instructions
- Measure all dried grains into an Instant pot.
- Stirring well, rinse grains with warm running water then strain.
- Add 3.5 cups of hot water to the grains.
- Add measured coconut oil and stir.
- Place in instant pot and seal. Set to high-pressure cook for 8 minutes.
- Quick-release.
- Stir then serve.
Hints & Tips
- You can swap out the rice in whole or in part for another kind – ¼ cup wild rice or sticky red Thai rice works well with this recipe.
