Ingredients
2 tsp. dried sage
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
½ tsp. red pepper flakes
½ tsp. dried marjoram
1kg of your favorite minced meat
Instructions
Mix all spices together. This spice mix should be combined with 1kg of your favorite minced meat for the perfect breakfast sausage. Form into sausage patties or meatballs. Grill, or bake until cook through.
Hints & Tips
- For a more intense flavor, use heaping measurements.
- I find preparing a few batches of this spice mix in advance and saving in small plastic ziplock bags, makes for an easy fix to ground meat. I’ve used this spice mix to make hamburgers, meatballs and breakfast sausage. It’s never disappointed me!
- I will often make, cook and freeze these sausages for easy meal prep.
- This is particularly good with turkey or chicken.
